May the character you would defend with your entire savings account arrive centered, uncreased, and worthy of the top-loader. We ask nothing of probability — only that it be gentle. We are obligated — happily — to remind you that this blessing, like every blessing on this site, has no effect on what comes out of a pack. Pack contents are decided at the factory. If there is a specific piece of art you are chasing, the honest move is the same one we recommend for every chase card: check whether buying the single is more predictable than opening packs and hoping. Usually it is.
But if you want to open a pack anyway — for the ritual, the smell of fresh foil, the small hope — that is a completely valid reason, and the altar is open.
